Driver's Orientation
A successful Drivers Orientation for the 6-Wheeler Truck operations were conducted this week in the Province of Davao de Oro, bringing together professional drivers and logistics personnel for a day of learning, safety awareness, and operational alignment. The event was headed by Mr. Honorio Quinio and Mr. Cydric Anthony Brit, who jointly emphasized the importance of responsible driving and proper vehicle care as vital components of Archon’s ongoing commitment to safety and efficiency in field operations.
The orientation aimed to strengthen the drivers’ understanding of preventive maintenance, safe driving techniques, and road discipline, particularly for heavy equipment and logistics transport units operating across Mindanao. Through interactive discussions and live demonstrations, participants learned about vehicle inspection routines, fuel management, accident prevention, and load handling protocols that ensure both safety and compliance with government transport regulations.
Mr. Quinio highlighted the crucial role of driver professionalism in maintaining company reputation and customer trust. He reminded everyone that “each trip represents the company’s reliability on the road,” encouraging drivers to take ownership of their assigned units and perform pre- and post-trip inspections diligently.
The orientation concluded with an open forum where drivers shared their on-the-road experiences, challenges, and suggestions for operational improvements. Certificates of participation were awarded to all attendees as recognition of their commitment to continuous learning and road safety.
